everything else i saw was meh. just the headbands and necklaces stood out for me and that's because they aren't junky quality like everything else seems to be. the bow cardigan...yeah...if you haven't seen it in person, you aren't missing out, trust me.

I checked my Target again today, and nothing additional new. They just moved the new polka dot shirts and tunics to their own display rack. Looks like the polka dot shirts flew off the rack (only 2 left after 1 day), and there was only 1 white tunic left, as well. There were still a few aqua tunics. I tried mine on this morning, and I love the fit of it. I really can't wait for the coral short shorts to come out. They'll look great with the tunic and the polka dot shirt both! Oh, and those satin jean shorts I mentioned before are a bermuda length...not short shorts as I've seen online. Hmmm. I'm hoping to get an e-mail from Target soon with a new passport code. When it was a week before the 2nd month into Luella's collection, they emailed me the code for her preview of 2nd batch releases. I think they should do the same for Tara's stuff. If and when I do get the code, I'll post it here if no one else does first. Come on, colorblock!

I haven't seen it yet in person, but it looks horribly tacky and cheap

Thanks for the heads up, usmarinewife. I saw the polka dot shirt in Lucky but didn't know they'd be out in the stores so soon. They aren't even online yet. How's the sizing like? Also, when did you go -- Sunday or Saturday? I assume that's when they release new stock and if so, that's when we need to check for the much anticipated and coveted colorblock dress!

the new issue of bust magazine (with the yeah yeah yeahs on the cover) has the black bandeau bikini top in one of their fashion spreads. it looks nice.

and i must admit i do like that ribbon bikini they added. (seems to be the only new item)

target sent me a 10 dollar e-GiftCard. pretty random. has anyone else received one?

and target is offering free shipping on all tara stuff over 50% until july. hopefully they want to make way for the colorblock dress!

shopdiary - I went on Sunday - Mother's Day. Guest Services told me they get 4 deliveries per week, so I just check back all the time. The polka dot shirt does run small...it's made to fit snugly at the waist and also the sleeves are fitted with the button, so best to try it on. GL! Yes, I was very surprised to see those things in the store because, as you wrote, they aren't even available online yet. This happened at this particular store during Luella, too. It's just a great SuperTarget, I guess. It does a ton of business, so they need to replace stock sooner. <shrug> Now that I've seen they get things quicker and more of them, I go to that one almost exclusively.

lucy - That's lucky to have gotten a $10 e-gc! None here yet. I did get that e-mail about the free shipping over $50 until July 1 this morning. That's a great incentive to buy online, esp if they send out some 10% codes, too. I still like to see the things in person first (but then if I like something enough, I want to buy it then and there).

I am so disappointed. I ordered the stretch lace top in blush in a size x-small, because I am very petite (5 ft 2, around 107 pounds, usually wear a size 0-2 in US). Anyway, I got the top yesterday, and immediately tried it on and it fit beautifully until the last two buttons on the waist/belly. I could get them buttoned, but it just looked totally weird and too tight. I couldn't believe it, it's not like a have a big belly, but it was humbling nonetheless. Can't go up a size because it would be too big on top. It is as if the top was made for an extremely long torso woman (like Mischa Barton or something) or someone without any hips at all. Oh well, it has to go back. Just wanted to warn people in case they were ordering on the target.com site like me.

they've changed the display rack setup at my target too. i think its looks better. less crowded.

usmarinewife, i swear you should start your own fashion blog!

i plan to wear my polka dot top with a longer bubble skirt at the ends at the knee.

i dont have any super targets in my area, just a target "greatland". i wish i had one for an expanded clothes area!

usmarinewife, thanks for the info.

i went to 3 target stores during my lunch break and did not find any dot print top or tunic. eeek! i feel like i've been on a wild goose chase but now i'm more determined than ever.

now i wonder where the nearest SuperTarget is...

I work right next to Target, and visit almost everyday (I wonder if the sales people think I'm creepy, haha), and I've been waiting for that colorblock dress, but it still hasn't come. I'd like to get the plum eyelet bag and the striped skirt, though.

But I remember they kept coming out with more and more Luella stuff, so I'm sure I'll more.

I've only liked bits and pieces from either collection (haha, I just realized I'm wearing a striped top from Luella's line and jeans from Tara's...) but I'm excited for Paul and Joe, if that's even the next designer. I can always hope for Marc

I noticed a new feature on the GO page - when you sign up for the Passport, instead of having to wait for it in an email that may take forever to get, they give it to you immediately on the page after you send your information. That's nice!
